As a Junior Application Developer, the candidate will be expected to take on challenging project work designing, building, testing and supporting technical solutions. Depending upon the project, the candidate could find they are developing advanced skills in technologies such as Java, J2EE, SAP, C#, SQL,Mobile and Oracle, among others. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, success driven, and looking to make a difference in the world. They will posses skills in the disciplines of Computer Science, Information Systems, Math and other related faculties, particularly software development or application management and development.
The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Baton Rouge center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. You must live in, or be willing to relocate to, LOUISIANA. The work location is 100 North Street Baton Rouge, LA 70802. This is not a work from home position.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Candidate must possess either:
Basic knowledge of business operations and taken courses in Accounting or Supply Chain Management.
Interned/worked at Retail, grocery or accounting firms
Basic knowledge in programming languages, methodologies and Object Oriented programming (Ex. Java, J2EE C++, etc)
Basic knowledge in development tools (Ex. Integrated Development Environment's(IDE’s), debuggers, code repositories)
All candidates must possess:
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Prefer Candidate to possess either:
Intermediate knowledge in programming languages, methodologies, and Object Oriented programming (Ex. Java, J2EE C++, etc) Equivalent to a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience

Supply Chain or Accounting Associate Level Certification.
