At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You'll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You'll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Deliver partner revenue objective through a combination of all sales motions (i.e., single point of contact for build, sell & service motions)
Drive partners to adopt IBM technology particularly growth offerings, as a basis for solutions and as part of reference architecture
Identify new opportunities for IBM technology to add value by building deep expertise of partner's tech stack, strategy, and goals
Own the technical relationship with partners and work to establish a reputation as a deeply trusted technology expert
Collaborate with TPS & Partner-facing BSPS on account planning, pitches, and business cases, providing technical expertise where necessary
Enable partners and leverage technical acceleration teams within the Ecosystem such as Hybrid Cloud Build Team, CSMs, GSI Labs, Cloud Engagement Funds, and TechLine.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Hybrid Cloud Architectures - including Modern IT Architecture, Related Technology Domains, Hybrid Cloud Operations
Understanding of IT Services Industry and key trends driving Hybrid Cloud & AI Modernization and Evolution
Drive Experiential Selling with Technical capabilities
Partner Ecosystem Experience and Partner stakeholder management
Strong communication skills and Sales cycle knowledge
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Knowledge of IBM Technoogy Offerings - Systems, IBM Hybrid Cloud, Data & AI and Security, Redhat
Expertise in partnering with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) - Operations, KPIs, Modernization journeys
Experience in Cloud Native Solution Development and / or Application & Platform Modernization
