Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a full-stack team developing the next generation of AI-infused features for our hybrid cloud products.

You will work in a dynamic environment closely, collaborating with Architects, other developers, and Offering Managers across our global organization. As part of a multi-disciplinary squad, you will focus on user interface design and development using React JS, working with design systems, and testing patterns.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of Software Development experience

• 4 yrs of Front-end Software Development experience, with proficiency in JavaScript, React JS, Redux, and CSS.

• Responsible for implementing responsive designs, developing reusable UI/UX components, and ensuring compliance with web standards.

• Good experience with UI build tools, web application frameworks, REST APIs, and agile methodologies. Additionally, experience with cloud-native technologies, CI/CD processes is preferred.

• You should be a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to the OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes or Docker is desired.

• Strong candidates will also have experience with Java programming.

• Exposure to relational databases and SQL is also a plus.

This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date and proof of vaccination status will be required before your start date.
