Your Role and Responsibilities
You are responsible for solution support as an expert for networking in hybrid cloud environments, will be responsible to understand and translate customer requirements into solutions, optimally leveraging standard building blocks and provide support to account teams throughout the customer service life cycle. You must review and vet each request and ensure proper input to the downstream processes driving optimal business outcome and customer experience.
You will communicate verbally and in writing using English and native language.
Discuss network related topics and technologies such as; Juniper vSRX firewalls, VMware NSX, VPNs, and dynamic routing protocols (i.e. BGP routing)
Gather and review available requirements to understand detailed technical needs.
Analyze customer requirements and design integrated technical solutions that will best meet those needs.
Design and propose new network architecture elements for integrations where appropriate.
Negotiate with customers and internal teams to meet requirements, technology constraints.
Create network diagram to support solution discussion/review
Support meetings with account teams, vendors, and customers to ensure proper communication and expectations
Communicate technology, process, and architectures to stakeholders.
Follow the ManagedApps organizational standards and overall architecture best practices
Act as SME during RFP, requirements gathering and detailing capabilities
Facilitate lessons learned feedback, record/review to drive long term internal improvements and better architectural methods supporting the continuous improvement of Integration Services.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 5+ years of experience in information technology, preferably in a hosting/cloud environment
Working knowledge of TCP/IP concepts such as; subnetting, NAT, common TCP/UDP ports, etc.
Experience with dynamic routing protocols, especially BGP
Generic problem determination/troubleshooting skills
Ability to work with multiple teams in matrix environment
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum years of relevant experience in networking - 8 years* This role requires ability to work in a team environment and able to provide technical leadership while working on complex customer network issues.
Strong conceptual and hands-on experience in providing SME level support on Network, Security and Load balancers to fix the day-to-day network operational issue.
Require hands-on experience on following combination of Network technologies:
a) Software Defined Networking
b) Cisco ACI
c) Cisco Routing switching
d) Network Security (FortiGate and Palo Alto)
e) Load balancers (F5 LTM)
Provide architect, design, maintenance and troubleshooting support for Cisco ACI, F5 load balancer, FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls utilizing IBM best practices along with other aspects of client security.
Effectively work on incidents till Isolating the issue, and excellent documenting skill on writing the RCA thereafter.
Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements.
Perform complex changes on the network and security devices.
Participate in various network and security projects and solution review calls.
Identify, review, and recommend potential opportunities to improvement service quality and operational efficiency.
Identify and implement the scope of automation
Well versed with troubleshooting tools, techniques and methodology including advance troubleshooting skills at packet levels using Wireshark / TCPDUMP/ NetScout etc.
Create and document sops and network diagrams using MS Visio
Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve critical network related issues.
Track the network compliance activities and make sure that network devices are compliant.
Network automation skills in Ansible / Python is preferred.
