Your Role and Responsibilities
As Middleware Administrator, you are responsible for installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning with proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies.
Responsibilities
Installation and configuration of IBM Security Lifecyle Manager
Ability to Navigate Linux/Unix/Windows environment
Installation/Maintenance/Administration IBM Security Key Lifecycle Manager
Review server/software configurations
Installation and configuration of SKLM application server code
Configure SKLM application server
Create SKLM application directory structure, data connections
Generation of certificate requests, Installation of server certificates
Maintenance/Administration WebSphere Application Server
Maintenance/Administration DB2
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of 6 year’s in IT industry
Working knowledge to locate and interpret Websphere Application Server logs, apply patches and troubleshooting in Websphere Application Server 8.x & 9.x
Good understanding of Websphere Application Server 8.x, 9.x settings & parameters in order to do quarterly health checks on the SKLM Websphere system
Complete understanding of Websphere file system structure
Good understanding of the SKLM GUI, including knowledge to set up different device types in SKLM
Working knowledge to set up keys and perform backup and restore using the SKLM GUI
Understand DB2 file system structure and knowledge to apply patches to DB2, locate and interpret DB2 logs
Knowledge of how to run queries in DB2 if requested by IBM support to troubleshoot issues
Good understanding of DB2 setting and parameters in order to do quarterly health checks on the SKLM DB2 system
Familiar with these ticketing systems: ISM, SCCD, Maximo, Service Now, Siebel, Remedy
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in TKLM/SKLM application support

Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012, Linux (Rhel, SUSE), AIX, Tape and Dasd backup environments
