Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Quote to Cash (Q2C) business is currently in the process of transitioning to SAP CPQ to enable faster, more intuitive configuration user experience for sellers on button click. Improve cycle times in the areas of pricing approvals. Allow business partners to self-serve creating quotes, contracts, orders and view billing in all-in-one place. Seamlessly integrate with other CRM/ERP systems for E2E user experience.

The Technical Consultant should have functional knowledge of quote to Cash process. Hands on experience on Simple Products, Configurable Products, Quotes, Approvals, Workflows, Document Generation templates, CTX tags and Formula builders, Quote Calculations, Attribute Containers, etc.,

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, validate, and document client business requirements while translating into CPQ product specifications

  • Establish and ensure a strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the CPQ solution/services

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects on identifying design approach

  • Configure & customize CPQ application.

  • Reviewing a client's configuration and use of the application to determine ways to improve performance, usability, and supportability

  • Helping to develop process improvements that will facilitate knowledge transfer to others

  • Design and develop technical solutions that will meet the Client's business requirements utilizing SAP Sales Cloud CPQ standard functionality

  • Develop solutions for integration between SAP Sales Cloud CPQ and third party CRM and ERP systems, as well as other cloud and on-premise systems

  • Collaborate with other team members to implement and maintain the solution functionality using the IronPython frameworks

  • Collaborate with other teams on integration data mapping exercises

  • Involvement in the full life cycle and change management process

  • Support and work collaboratively with team managers across areas of Sales, UI design, Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations

  • Ability to prioritize and support multiple projects at once

  • Mentors, coaches and develops junior developer peers

  • Travel up to 20%.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

  • 6 + years of experience

  • Experience with Web application architectures, tools and frameworks with a good understanding of SOAP and REST web services; Front end : JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Jquery & Bootstrap

  • Scripting languages experience (Python)

  • Experience in object-oriented languages and Database skills (SQL)

  • Experience in Software Technical Consulting

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail is a must

  • Excellent problem identifying and solving aptitude

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, autonomous environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in knockout.js

  • MSSQL/ HANA SQL

  • IDE for IronPython: IronPython Studio, SharpDevelop, Wing IDE, Eclipse and PyDev

  • IDE for JS: Sublime Text 2, Visual Studio, Cloud 9 IDE

  • Razor view engine.
