IBM Internship: Post-shipment CICD stage for analytics appliance in Böblingen, Germany

The IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator is a software appliance that enables and accelerates analytical and machine learning workloads for relational databases. It supports the most challenging and demanding customers in analyzing and dramatically accelerating their queries in Db2 z/OS. It is developed by several highly agile teams around the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The CI/CD pipeline of IDAA is testing pre-shipment code-levels only reaching high scaled stress tests. At the customer sites we see effects coming from defects we can not find during pre-shipment testing for time-reasons what brings up the need for a post-shipment CI/CD stage.

The vision is to set-up, implement and deploy a post-shipment CI/CD test-stage that searches for defects that are observable after weeks/months of testing. As there is no such stage at all this needs to be built from scratch together with the team.

It is possible to extend this internship with a thesis.
