Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM GTS Services Client Representative (SCR) assumes both new business (new client acquisition) and account ownership responsibilities for existing and new IBM clients. One must possess demonstrated technical skills in Selling Multi Cloud Environments and Services solutions. A thorough understanding of Cloud technologies and solutions is a must. One must understand the competitive landscape and be able to develop appropriate sales strategies to win. The GTS SCR must be able to effectively hunt for new business and build lasting business relationships. The individual is expected to be networking and leveraging internal IBM matrix and extended teams to develop best solutions for the client. One will need to apply sales skills to engage and close opportunities with key decision makers.
This is partly a new business/business development role. We are looking for a true "Hunter" sales professional that understands how to cultivate new business and how to manage a territory to win net new GTS clients across IBM's client set in the Financial Services market. At all levels being adept at maintaining high levels of client satisfaction with Clients is the criteria for success on the role. The seller must be able to manage large, complex transactions as well as cross-sell and upsell pursuits.

The IBM Global Technology Services portfolio includes: IBM Resiliency Services, Security and privacy services, Strategic Outsourcing Services, Systems Services, Mobility and Networking Services as well as Cloud offerings.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Basic knowledge of Multi-Cloud Environments (Private, Public, and Hybrid) Solutions
Knowledge of the Public Cloud Landscape: AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, etc.
At least 2 years of experience in Cloud Sales / Services Sales.
Readiness to travel 50% annually
Client focused – Go-getter attitude
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
5 years of experience in selling Multi- Cloud (Private, Public, and Hybrid) Solutions.
3 years of Experience in working the Public Cloud Landscape: AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, etc.
5 years of experience in Solution Services Sales
5 years of experience in Executive Relationship Management
