IBM Security Sales Partner Specialist, MaaS 360 in Austin, Texas


The IBM Security Business Partner Ecosystem Team is looking for a Security Sales Partner Specialist to focus on Telco for MaaS360 brand. The Security Sales Partner Specialist (BSPS) specializing in Security Software will focus on a telecommunications industry and will drive brand sales of MaaS360 through business partners. The BSPS delivers differentiated value through IBM's technology portfolio to clients during the pre-sales and customer engagement phase of an opportunity

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Work directly with Business Partners driving our SaaS solutions

  • Initial focus will be on MaaS360 with increased focus on IBM Verify

  • On MaaS360, you will assist our external clients with the set-up, deployment and implementation of the MaaS360 product. Making sure we understand the needs of the client and set up their portal in order for the customer to manage their end points successfully.

  • Administer the needs of the customer initially and throughout the life cycle by providing a great customer experience.

  • Assist customers in optimal utilization of the MaaS360 portal.

  • Provide training to all customers to use tools and resources readily available.

  • Develop new processes and recommend improvements to all procedures and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction at all times.

  • Coordinate with the Business Partner sales teams along with IBM sales teams and customers to ensure all projects are completed within required time frame.

IBMers in Ecosystem (Partner) Sales work with partners to drive sales of IBM Technology across sell-to and sell-through motions. They have deep technical expertise as well as the ability to co-create solutions while collaborating with the client and focusing on client value solutions. IBMers in these roles do the following: work with clients and IBMers to drive leads to partners and helps progress deals; drive IBM's business and technology agenda into key partners; pursue "sell-to" deals for partners to use/embed IBM in their solutions; and support partners end-to-end with programs, contracting, etc.

The Partner Sales Professional career path is built around deep partner ecosystem and business acumen. Important to this career path is the ability to lead partner transformation based on IBM strategies and solutions, but also to gain insights on partner solutions to help integrate the various brands and offerings into a valued solution for the partner's clients by effectively managing the IBM and partner ecosystem and teams. Sellers in this career path perform business development in the Ecosystem and manage the expectations of their partners. They develop and manage partner relationships at the C-Suite level.
