IBM Product Marketing Manager: IBM Spectrum Fusion in Austin, Texas

Introduction

At IBM, work is more than a job - it's a calling: To build. To design. To code. To consult. To think along with clients and sell. To make markets. To invent. To collaborate. Not just to do something better, but to attempt things you've never thought possible. Are you ready to lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world's most challenging problems? If so, lets talk.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is a technologist who strikes a balance between a deep understanding of the inner workings of our products and solutions and the relevance of that understanding to solving various business challenges. The ideal candidate will be expected to be just as comfortable in the lab/datacenter as they would be in front of an audience of decision makers, decision influencers, and decision implementers. As an IBM's Sr. Product Marketing Manager for our Cloud-Native and Software-Defined Kubernetes offering (IBM Spectrum Fusion), you'll build brand awareness and drive product adoption for our container ecosystem. You'll leverage marketing tactics to ensure we promote the IBM Spectrum Fusion offerings to our key audience (horizontal and vertical offerings). You'll implement research insights to marketing assets, such as the website to continually optimize investments that capture mindshare and grow market share. You'll create product positioning, messaging, and narratives while leading go-to-market efforts for launches and updates across the portfolio. You'll create interactive demos, write and produce diverse and inclusive written and video case studies to bring our solutions, products, launches and product releases to life.

Before you apply, keep in mind: a great deal will be expected of you that may not be documented here; you must be an analytical thinker, you must possess a strong technical acumen in various areas of storage, datacenter, and cloud architectures, the ability to clearly articulate the technical differentiators of our products and solutions, and you'll be asked to identify near and long-term opportunities that we can build into our roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. If you're up for the challenge, keep reading.
