Your Role and Responsibilities

The North America Digital Sales Data+AI and Automation Leader is responsible for leading a team of Digital Sales Representatives to meet revenue objectives. As the North America Digital Sales, you will use your leadership experience and skills to lead Digital teams to prospect, cultivate, and ultimately close business working with IBM's large ecosystem of premier partners. You will be responsible for running a large business Software Business across 5 IBM market verticals. You will be responsible for being the liaison back to our IBM's digital sponsors, driving strategic engagements, and identifying areas for future investments in the space

  • Negotiate with C-level executives on strategic deals.

  • Develop and execute a management system of a growing team of Digital First Line leader. Ensuring objectives and KPIs are met.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Channels & Cloud/Data Operations leads to ensure a supportive ecosystem for the digital sellers to thrive and be successful.

  • Develop and maintain a system of continuous education for the team.

  • Run sales cadences that focus on core metrics of Revenue Attainment, Pipeline, and Opportunity Identification.

  • Ensure timely reporting via Customer Relationship Management tool.

  • Engage with Product Management to provide feedback on customer reaction to offering management.

  • Gather market information including competitor activity, and report to management.

  • Provide regular updates to management regarding opportunities, trends and challenges.

  • Maintain effective communication across key departments and senior leadership team.

  • Enhance sales performance through expanded use of digital and social processes and capabilities.

  • Demonstrate excellence through the disciplined management of key performance indicators, streamlining of inside sales processes and optimized resource deployment to improve pipeline yields and drive seller productivity.

  • Responsible for recruitment, performance management, retention, skill-enhancement, training and succession planning.

  • You will drive superior sales performance through pervasive sales-coaching.

  • As an IBM Sales leader you will be an inspirational role model, creating a culture of sales and social selling eminence that deliver lient and Sponsor value.

  • You will represent IBM Digital sales to the broader IBM teams.

  • Guide the process, ensuring the right materials and stakeholders are involved and available to ensure successful outcomes of each new business pitches.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Demonstrated Management and Sales experience along with existing network.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience of software sales.

  • Proven success negotiating multi-million dollar contracts.

  • Consistent achievement of quota.

  • Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Industry applicable certifications.
