There is no relocation offered and no remote option (post covid).

The IBM CIO Help@IBM organization is transforming how we provide Windows 10 Help Desk services. We are looking for talented Windows 10 Specialists to join our team in Austin, Texas.

As a passionate, talented specialist, you will be an integral part of this support team that will deliver a "white glove" experience for our internal end users. Customer satisfaction is your key focus and you will be a significant contributor delivering IT Support that will delight our IBM Users.

Your goal will be to deliver excellence in solving end user problems. As a creative problem solver, you take pride in the service you deliver, quickly determine what help a colleague needs, and the best way to deliver it by adapting the technical guidance required to the technical skill of the caller.

You'll be comfortable in technical environments and quickly be able to analyze complex multi-system issues. Sometimes you'll need to reach out to teammates to help achieve a resolution, but you'll maintain that first contact point relationship until the IBM end user has confirmed resolution.

This role requires outstanding communication, collaboration and problem solving skills.

  • You will need to be fluent in English and Spanish

  • Daily, you will bring your customer service focus and successfully interact with our internal customers

  • You will be an active listener with flexibility to modify approach and adapt to customer needs

  • The ability to multi-task is key to yours and the team’s success.

  • You are excited and willing to absorb new information and processes

  • As recommended, you make quick changes to daily processes

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Fluent speaking and writing in English

  • Fluent in Spanish and able to professionally communicate technical terminology

  • At least 2 years Windows experience professionally and/or personally

  • At least 2 years professional troubleshooting expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experienced in Windows 10

  • Two plus years of support desk experience

  • Experience with Agile techniques applied in a customer service environment
