IBM Business Intelligence Technology Enablement Delivery Leader in Austin, Texas


At IBM, Enablement Delivery Leaders work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You'll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You'll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.

Your Role and Responsibilities

BI Technology Enablement Delivery Leader will help drive the growth and adoption of Analytics / Data Visualization solutions with customers of all sizes, expected to be an active voice in our leadership discussions as we make decisions on our roadmap based on the customer behavior.

  • Lead the technical approach for BI capabilities and provide oversight across multiple projects, working directly with both client and the CBDS team.

  • Help grow our practice by developing new assets and accelerators, developing thought leadership in the tech community, and leading technical teams.

  • SME to drive all aspects of client pursuit deliverables (proposals, SOWs) translating business requirements into BI and Analytics solutions and accelerators to deliver desirable outcomes for our clients.

  • Responsible for the customization, integration and delivery of BI tools for a wide variety of CBDS clients. Working with the C&A Analytics consultants, Data Scientists and Engineers to translate clients needs for analytics into technical solutions, identifying data sourcing, and developing the data models to provide the necessary tools to solve client problems.

  • Configure and other relevant technologies in order to be able to build and present demo applications and proof of concepts

  • Integrate C&A solutions with the customizable BI tools to enable our client to self-service their data needs and produce automated reporting, dashboards, and what if analyses

  • Have familiarity with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, goal-setting and opportunity management

  • Collaborate with the CIC Engineers, Data Scientists and App Developers, helping lead and define all business intelligence priorities across C&A practice.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ Years experience in Business Intelligence technology enablement & delivery

  • 5+ years of consulting experience in the customer service field

  • 5+ years of experience building self-service reporting solutions using business intelligence CRM software

  • 4+ Years' experience with SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS or ETL concepts within enterprise reporting and BI teams

  • Advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar BI tools

  • Experience with scripting languages

  • Demonstrated execution of business intelligence capability enhancements (e.g., data warehouse applications, self-service reporting tools) that involved developing requirements, partnering with technology organizations, and user roll-out).

  • Proficiency in Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), develop a reporting framework and build OLAP reports for customers and partners.

  • Understands Web services at a high level and can read/understand JSON.

  • Prior working knowledge of the Salesforce platform and Tableau.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 2+ Years of Salesforce Einstein Analytics experience preferably in an enterprise capacity working with large data sets and multiple users/audiences

  • Knowledge of Data Mining (e.g., Customer Segmentation, Click-Stream Analysis, Log File Analysis, etc.)

  • Tableau & Einstein Certifications are preferred.

  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
