Your Role and Responsibilities
The Z Software Partner and Ecosystem Lead is responsible for the following:
Team leader for our business-critical Z Software Business Partners in the Americas.
Lead organize and manage executive level strategic planning and operational cadence to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement across our business in conjunction with leaders in our Z Markets and Brands.
Build strong working relationships within our Z Software Sales team in the Americas and Worldwide and with our Z Software Business Partners.
Be a key player in setting the strategy for engagement with our Partners and the way we work together to jointly sponsor, activate, and engage clients and territories to make the most of the partnerships.
Work with Partners and Clients to understand the demands of their business, gather insight and translate these requirements into wins for Z Software and our Partners across the entire System Z IPLA and PPA portfolio.
Drive Partner communication and focus on providing solution information andto our Partners, keep partner teams up to date on joint marketing activities and their impact.
Manage the business with a focus on leading the team to achieve business results monthly, quarterly and annually, building a sustainable and growing business.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven sales skills with Enterprise Software and / or IBM Z Software Solutions
Deep knowledge of our Business Partner/Distributor programs, processes, and strategy.
Demonstration of experience managing Partners and familiarity with selling through our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Partner routes to market.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a B2B full-cycle sales role managing sales cycles from prospect to close.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT channel sales
Experience in prospecting/sales through all digital channels, such as, phone, email, and social media.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced results-oriented yet team-oriented collaborative environment.

Prominent organizational, presentation, and time management skills
Be organized with great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to lead, work independently and use good judgment in resolving challenges
