Your Role and Responsibilities

Successful sales and implementation of our z Software products benefit from services to focused on implementation and deployment.
The Contract Specialist is responsible for generating and registering Statements of Work, Documents of Understanding, and Inter Company Agreements in support of the zTPS Software Solutions and Lab Services business in the North America, Canada and UK markets.
This is a critical role for the zTPS Software Solutions and Lab Services business. The role is to provide commercial and contract guidance to the zTPS Software Solutions business. For delivery, the role is responsible to interface with the zTPS Software Solutions SMPO team, and the WW zTPS Lab Services team.
The contract specialist should have the ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with all levels (professional to executive) within IBM, customers, suppliers, partners and their external representatives is essential. On international contracts the role will require interfacing with teams in other countries and ensuring the agreement accurately reflects IBM's capabilities in all countries within scope.
Draft and negotiate statements of work (SOWs) & documents of understanding (DOUs) which accurately specify the business relationships between IBM and customers, alliances, partners and other companies.
Use BI tools, with scope provided by requestor or from boilerplate to generate necessary documentation
Generate work products (price case, client information, credit assessment, legal review, etc.) as required
Incorporate use of IBM resources (in/out of region), BP resources and IP Partner resources as needed
Obtain necessary approvals for SOWs and DOUs in accordance with IBM Audit guidelines
Submit contract for legal and Quality Assurance (QA) review via bi tools. In addition, address any concerns identified by legal and/or QA
Register signed statement of work (contract) in Engage Support
release billing for fixed price contracts. submit time in IBM Labor CLAIM system for completed services.
work with financial analyst in requesting InterCompany Agreements (ICAs) as needed.
work with Ireland's business analyst in reviewing dashboard for signed contracts.
assist accounts receivable in validating disputed invoices for SOW you prepared.
